Delete the log files from C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC3, unless it is required for further use (Tak a backup of the logfiles before delete)

Even if you delete the log files, it will be created again unless you change the settings.

1. Control Panel-Administrative Tools- IIS Manager
2. Expand the Server(click + button next to the server name)- Websites
3. Right Click on "Default Websites", select "Properties"
4. Under "Website" tab on the top, look for "Enable Logging"
5. By default, it is checked.
6. You can either disable by unchecking the check box or change the Log Schedule by clicking "Properties" button next to it.

Done.. Have a nice day..

HI Ian,

Glad it worked for you. As far as I can see there is no need to delete the folder just the files within it.

Thanks! I used a tool called Scan to find out where my disk space was been used, then googled the solution and came upon your post.....looking in the files I found information about both types of connections. So this helped...again thanks!

Once question, can you delete the folder as well or do you have to delete the files in the folders only?

Regards
