Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close

Vista stuck in loop ‘Configuring Updates ‘

The other day while browsing the Internet I Found A Fix for a recent problem I was having. The issue is described as follows;

The problem encountered is that when the PC is booted up you will encounter a message saying something like “Configuring Updates Stage 3 of 3 0%, then reboots, leading to the exact same message.

Windows will not boot either to normal mode, safe mode or even last good configuration.

Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\

The other day while browsing the Internet I Found A Fix for a recent problem I was having. The issue is described as follows;

The computer would not boot up. I received the message “Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\”

Downgrading to Windows XP (Hard Drive Not Detected)

I discovered something when I was downgrading Vista to XP on a HP Laptop.At the start, when booting off the XP install CD, and attempted to install, I got a message saying that the Hard Drive was not detected.

Getting Red X on OWA & Vista with reply and new emails
